“RECENTRE“ Kick-off Meeting in Treviso
The successful RECENTRE kick-off event took place on September 11/12 at the premises of our lead partner @t2i in Treviso, Italy. As a project partner, our team is responsible for project communication, among other things.
This “RECENTRE” initiative is a significant step forward in our efforts to support the green transformation of the Alpine manufacturing sector and the introduction of advanced technologies for the benefit of workers.
In addition to getting to know the 13 committed project partners, the kick-off focused on the aspects of which stakeholders to involve rather than reinventing the wheel: how can existing methods and results from other projects within RECENTRE be used to achieve the project’s objectives.
The aim is to improve the framework conditions to promote the transformation of the manufacturing sector in the automotive, mechatronics and bioeconomy sub-sectors in the Alpine region in line with the Industry 5.0 strategy, to make SMEs smarter, more sustainable and more resilient and to ensure the necessary financial system for its implementation. In contrast to Industry 4.0, the focus is once again on people. Intelligent machines should help people to work faster and more efficiently instead of displacing them.
The project runs until 31 August 2027 and is co-funded by the European Union as part of the Interreg “Alpine Space” programme under the priority “Innovation and digitalization for a green Alpine Space” ans supports the green transformation of the manufacturing sector and the uptake of advanced technologies for well-being of workers.
