SHIP – Solar Heat in Industrial Processes
Within a GEF/UNIDO project on improving the use of Solar Heat in Industrial Processes (SHIP), a 4 days training was held by an UNIDO expert team jointly with colleagues from AEE INTEC. DI Josef Buchinger from ConPlusUltra was part of the training team.
Participants from industry (textile, food, car suppliers), consulting and supplier companies and individuals were trained on energy auditing. This included identification of significant energy users, thermal system analysis, process flow and Sankey charts, heat recovery, and integration of solar thermal systems for reducing fuel costs and carbon emissions.
