Since summer 2018, 272 participants coming from SMEs, start-ups and social enterprises and 143 representatives from business support organisations were involved in the CrowdStream pilot trainings and capacity building workshops across the whole Danube area. The Interreg DTP CrowdStream project has released a pitching video which summarises impressions from implemented trainings for SMEs, start-ups and business support organisations (BSOs) as well as from pilot actions and study visits in all partner regions.
In its local pilot activities in Austria, ConPlusUtra focused on the approach of preparing local bottom-up projects for implementing alternative financing forms. Capacity building workshops for BSOs were dedicated to the Lower Austrian innovation system and to (trans)national LEADER networks aiming to support their activities to promote bottom-up micro-regional development initiatives. The Austrian field mission was organised and implemented by ConPlusUltra on Sept 5-6, 2018 in Wiener Neustadt. It was designed as a transnational learning interaction, where CrowdStream project partners and key stakeholders were able to share experience from ongoing regional pilot actions and discuss strategies to improve access to alternative finance for local SMEs and start-ups.
Upcoming activities for ConPlusUltra in the framework of CrowdStream are, among others, the publication of a Regional Action Plan, further roll-out of capacity building activities for regional development managers and the dissemination of digital training materials.

CrowdStream activity is funded by the European Union (ERDF, IPA) within the Interreg project CrowdStream.
