Smart cities and sustainable cities are to provide solutions to significantly increase cities’ overall energy and resource efficiency through actions addressing the building stock, energy systems, mobility, climate change, water and air quality. Such actions should bring profound economic, social and environmental impacts, resulting in a better quality of life (including health and social cohesion), competitiveness, jobs and growth.
We support stakeholders interested with defining project concepts and developing proposals, and implementing a Smart City or Smart Region on the way to become a „Zero Emission City“ or „Zero Emission Urban Region“.
Within energy master plans visionary approaches for an efficient and sustainable energy supply and buildings and mobility infrastructure are being developed. In addition, we support real estate developers in assessing innovative energy supply and demand concepts as a basis for detailed design (or architectural competitions).
