The EDU4future “International Methodology” developed under the leadership of the German project partner AFBB is the central starting point for successfully mapping the situation in the individual countries. Through this EDU4future “International Methodology”, it will be possible to compare different ways of transferring “digital” labour market requirements into vocational education and training.
In addition to the other project partners SOPK, TREXIMA, ConPlusUltra, t²i – trasferimento tecnologico e innovazione s.c. a r.l., and G&P svetovanje Gregor Jagodič, representatives from VET schools and companies and other institutions were involved in designing the process. The methodology is available in 6 European languages.
In the next stage of the project, all 6 country teams will prepare country reports based on the international methodology. From these results, processes of transferring the needs of companies to “Industry 4.0” to the vocational education system in the individual countries will be found.
Afterwards, their mutual comparison, evaluation and processing of recommendations for public sector organisations, vocational schools, companies, clusters, etc. will be carried out.
First expert evaluation panel planned for September 2021
ConPlusUltra will invite representatives of organisations from business and VET to an expert panel in September 2021 after the first version of the Austrian country report has been drafted. In the half-day workshop, the raw version of the Austrian country report will be evaluated and further developed on the basis of the experts’ opinions. People from industry, politics and education who are involved in vocational education and training are invited to express their interest in participating.
The project received funding under Key Action 2 of the Erasmus+ program, Strategic Partnerships
